XXII GEM CONGRESS second announcement:

Registration and abstract submission are open at https://www.ill.fr/GEM2023

Deadline for abstract submission is 4th December 2022.

Deadline for final registration is 31st January 2023.

The 22nd congress of the French Membrane Group (GEM) will be held for the first time in the French Alps from 14th to 17th March 2023 at the Escandille Village Vacances, Autrans, France.

GEM brings together researchers, biologists, biochemists, biophysicists, physicists and chemists interested in biological phenomena associated with membranes at all levels, from the organ to the molecule.

The meeting will focus on the structure, dynamics and function of membranes and will be locally organised by researchers from different institutes situated in Grenoble where several well-known European and national research facilities are located.

The GEM conference covers the following topics:

Structural biology

Host-pathogen interactions

Computational methods

Molecular interations at the membrane surface

Interaction lipids/polymers/membrane proteins

Invited speakers include:

Bart Hoogenboom – University College London, London, UK

Isabelle Marcotte – Université du Québec à Montréal, Montreal, QC, CA

Hughes Nury – Institute of Structurale Biology, Grenoble, FR

Chantal Pichon – Centre de Biophysique Moléculaire, Orléans, FR

Birgit Schiott – Aarhus University, Aarhus, DK

Emma Sparr – University of Lund, Lund, SE

Hanna Wacklin-Knecht – European Spallation Source, Lund, SE

Hans Wandall – University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen, DK

We hope to see you numerous there.
