It is accessible by car and public transport (Bibus company):

  • Bus: Line 2b, direct line from city center (many stops in the city center are served by the line, please use the link to the line map to find the stop closest to your accomodation). Venue bus stop: Technopole.
  • Tram: Line A, undirect line, be careful, the tram terminal is still at 4km of the venue. You will need to use the bus line 2b to arrive until the PNBI. Tram stop: Porte de Plouzané.
  • Free car and bicycle parking on the venue

Accomodations, hotels

We recommend that you stay in Brest city center as it is where you will have public transports, shops, restaurants and bars. In Brest, we recommend that you stay in area close to a tram and/or bus (lines 2b) stations to commute easily to the conference venue and the city center (and close to a Boulangerie, because you cannot start a day without a French croissant). The most convenient areas in Brest include ‘Saint Martin’, ‘Siam’, ‘Recouvrance’, ‘Les Capucins’.

A visit of the Bay of Brest is scheduled on Monday 23th from 19:00 to 20:30.
A bus will bring participants from the venue to the harbour. After the boat tour on the Brestoâ, you will be free to enjoy a celtic night on Brest harbour.



The Gala dinner will take place at Les Ateliers des Capucins on Tuesday 24th.

Cable car: direct from the bottom of rue du Siam (Jean Moulin stop) to Ateliers des Capucins

Poster presentation

Poster presentation will include a speed-talk oral presentation of 1 min exactly (if you want to participate to the poster award).

Posters should be mounted from September 23 to 26 on the designated boards and dismounted at the end of the conference.

The dimension of the boards are 120 cm high x 85 cm wide (47.2 x 33 inches). Adhesive tape and clamps for mounting the posters on the boards will be available at the poster area.
nb: Please do not print your poster in landscape as there will not be room for it!

Oral Communication

Speakers are asked to bring their USB flash drive (preferred) or eventually their computer to the chairpersons at least 30 minutes prior to the session. The allocated time for all presentations is 15 min, including a 3-minutes Q&A time.



A Certificate of attendance will be provided to a participant for sessions that the participant has attended. A participant must attend an entire session to receive credit for that particular session. Late arrivals and early departures from a session will preclude a participant from receiving credit.



Cancellation requests must be emailed to the organizers before September 1st, 2024. Cancellation requests received before this date will receive a full refund minus a 100 euros cancellation processing fee (excluding VAT, if applicable). There will be no refunds if cancelation request is received after the cancellation deadline.
