We are pleased to announce that the 4th International Conference on Lipid Droplets & Oleosomes will take place from 2-4 June 2026, in Montpellier, France.

The Conference will combine the most recent scientific and industrial developments on topics around the structure, the biological role, the extraction, and the use of oleosomes in cosmetics, pharma, and foods.

  • Christina Lamberti (Institute of Science of Food Production, National Research Council, Italy)
  • Prof. Thierry Durand (Bioactive Lipid Synthesis, CNRS, France)

Abstracts are invited on the following topics until 15 December 2025:

  • Lipids droplets from nutrition to health and disease
  • Lipid Droplets and Oleosomes: new approaches to investigate structures, functions, and biology
  • Processing and sustainable extraction of oleosomes
  • Lipid droplets and oleosomes for foods, cosmetics and pharmaceutics

The meeting will be hosted at INRAe facilities in the beautiful city of Montpelier, France

Registration fees include lunch on 2-4 June at Omnia and a gala dinner by the sea on 3 June.
