The GERLI society grants every year travel grants (see below) as well as the following awards:
* The competition for GERLI and GERLI-SFN PhD thesis awards will take place in spring 2026 (more information). The laureates will be invited to the congress where they will present their PhD work and get their Awards at the gala dinner.
NEW !!!!! GERLI Travel Grants: The GERLI is eager to welcome Young Scientists for their active participation to the congress in Bordeaux, to present their work in scientific sessions as oral communications.
The GERLI is offering travel grants of a maximum amount of 600€ (from overseas), 300€ (from Europe), 200€ (from France). These grants will be awarded in September 2026 but should be asked before July 15th, 2026 (same deadline as for oral presentation application). Applicants should send a letter to the congress chair with the following documents:

The competition of Best young investigator poster / oral communication awards will take place during the meeting.
Best poster : posters have to be exhibited during the entire meeting and presented during the poster sessions. If a flash poster presentation is taking place, each participant will have to prepare a one minute/one slide “flash presentation”. Awards will be given during the gala dinner
Best oral presentation : The GERLI Scientific committee will select the best oral communication among young speakers (Master, PhD students and Postdocs). Awards will be given at the very end of the meeting, before closing remarks.
