The Agora du Haut Carré, which is also the University of Bordeaux Headquarters, is a former convent, built in the 1950s, in the town of Talence located 15 min from Bordeaux historical center. The lectures will take place in the former Chapel, while the posters will be exposed in the cloister.

The venue is well connected to Bordeaux historical center by the tramway public transportation system using Tram B (12 min ride from Bordeaux Cathedral, place Pey Berland). Exit at the station Talence Center (Forum). The Agora du Haut Carré is about 600 m away (8min walk).

 

Accomodations, hotels

We recommend that you stay in Bordeaux downtown where you will have an easy access to the public transports, shops, restaurants and bars. Staying close to the venue in Talence is another option. In both cases, we recommend choosing a hotel along the tram B line to shorten you travel to the conference venue.

 

SOCIAL EVENT

A Welcoming Reception will take place on Monday 21st, 2026, after the Opening lectures.
On the afternoon of Wednesday 23rd, 2026, a visit of a Bordeaux Vineyard will be organized. It will be followed by a gala dinner in a Chateau.

POSTER AND ORAL PRESENTATIONS

At least one author per abstract submission should register. Please refer to the  ABSTRACT SUBMISSION page.

Poster presentation

Posters should be exposed from September 21st to 24th on the designated boards and dismounted at the end of the conference.

The dimension of the boards are 120 cm high x 85 cm wide (47.2 x 33 inches). Adhesive tape and clamps for mounting the posters on the boards will be available at the poster area.
NB: Landscape poster cannot be posted as there will not be room!

Oral Communication

Speakers are asked to bring their USB flash drive (preferred) or eventually their computer to the chairpersons at least 30 minutes prior to the session. The allocated time for all presentations is 15 min, including a 3-minutes Q&A time.

 

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

A Certificate of attendance will be provided to a participant for sessions that the participant has attended. A participant must attend an entire session to receive credit for that particular session. Late arrivals and early departures from a session will preclude a participant from receiving credit.

For obtaining such a certificate, please contact the organizers after the congress.

 

CANCELLATION

Cancellation requests must be emailed to the organizers before August 15th, 2026. Cancellation requests received before this date will receive a full refund minus a 100 euros cancellation processing fee (excluding VAT, if applicable). There will be no refunds if cancelation request is received after the cancellation deadline.
