PhD offer:
A 3-year doctoral stipend will be funded as a Convention Industrielle de Formation par la Recherche (CIFRE; industrial research training agreement ) to start in september/october 2023.
The objective of the program is to refine our understanding of biological activities of phytosterols during the course of plant growth and development in challenging environmental conditions. The program requires multilevel and multidisciplinary approaches, from chemistry and cell biology to visualize reporters, to functional expression of genes and metabolomics to identify novel biochemical processes.
The hosting research laboratory is the Institut de biologie moléculaire des plantes (IBMP) in Strasbourg, in collaboration with the Agri-biotech partner Elicit Plant.
