The goal of this 40+ year GERLI meeting series is to promote the exchange of state-of-the-art knowledge in the evolving field of lipids and membrane components in a lively and convivial environment.
The meeting will thus not only highlight scientific knowledge from a set of awarded and invited lectures from around the world, but will also provide a forum for oral presentations and posters from young scientists such as PhD students and post-docs, with competition for awards in a friendly atmosphere.
There will be room for 24+ oral communications (12 min plus 3 min discussion) selected from the submitted abstracts.
A “best oral communication award” will be given.
The abstracts not accepted for oral communication will be considered as posters if indicated in the abstract submission form.
There will be room for 50+ posters, to be presented during two poster sessions and also exposed during the entire meeting.
Poster participants may apply (or not) for the “best young researcher poster award”. The process will be in two rounds:
The Institute of Microbiology, Bioenergies and Biotechnology (IM2B) of Aix-Marseille University, partner of our international meeting, will cover the full registration with lodging in twin rooms for 2 PhD students and 2 postdocs (not more than 3 years after the PhD defense). Two awards will be given to members of IM2B laboratories at Aix-Marseille University while the two others are not targeted and are open to all young researchers whatever their institution and country. Candidates will have to apply for an oral or a poster presentation and to indicate their application in the abstract submission form below. The decision to award IM2B free registration will be notified before the end of August 2022. If you are candidate, please wait and do not register yet.
