• Submission deadline for Oral communication: Closed
  • Submission deadline for Poster communication: Extended to October 15, 2022

The goal of this 40+ year GERLI meeting series is to promote the exchange of state-of-the-art knowledge in the evolving field of lipids and membrane components in a lively and convivial environment.

The meeting will thus not only highlight scientific knowledge from a set of awarded and invited lectures from around the world, but will also provide a forum for oral presentations and posters from young scientists such as PhD students and post-docs, with competition for awards in a friendly atmosphere.

There will be room for 24+ oral communications (12 min plus 3 min discussion) selected from the submitted abstracts.

A “best oral communication award” will be given.

The abstracts not accepted for oral communication will be considered as posters if indicated in the abstract submission form.

There will be room for 50+ posters, to be presented during two poster sessions and also exposed during the entire meeting.

Poster participants may apply (or not) for the “best young researcher poster award”. The process will be in two rounds:

  1. A “1-minute/1 slide” flash talk presentation of your poster during a friendly “flash talk session”. So please prepare and bring one slide with you!
  2. A 3-minute presentation/ 3-minute discussion of your poster to the “poster committee” during the poster sessions.
