The GERLI society grants every year several awards including a PhD thesis award that will be presented to the meeting.
The GERLI has also partnered with other French societies (SFN, SFEL, SFBBM) and sponsoring organizations to recognize research excellence and provide access to the meeting.

IM2B free registration awards: This call is closed. Candidates were selected. The Institute of Microbiology, Bioenergies and Biotechnology (IM2B) of Aix-Marseille University, partner of our international meeting, will cover the full registration with lodging in twin rooms for 2 PhD students and 2 postdocs (not more than 3 years after the PhD defense). Two awards will be given to members of IM2B laboratories at Aix-Marseille University while the two others are not targeted and are open to all young researchers whatever their institution and country. Candidates will have to apply for an oral or a poster presentation and to indicate their application in the abstract submission form. The decision to award IM2B free registration will be notified before the end of August 2022. If you are candidate, please wait and do not register yet. IM2B will pay the registration of the selected young researchers. If you are selected you will have to mention the financial support of IM2B and show the IM2B and Aix-Marseille Université logos during your oral or poster presentation.
Best young investigator poster award competition. Rules: posters have to be exhibited during the entire meeting and presented during two poster sessions. Each poster has to be presented the first day of the meeting as a one minute/one slide “flash presentation”. So please bring one slide summarizing your poster, or preferably send it in advance to the organizers.
Best oral presentation award competition. The GERLI Scientific committee will select the best oral communication among young speakers (PhD students and Postdocs).
